User-Centered Design (UCD)is a design approach where the user is the reference point at every stage of product creation—from the initial hypothesis, through research and prototyping,
to testing and implementation. It is a process that combines empathy, data, and iterative improvement to create solutions that are truly useful, understandable, and valuable.

Below is an example of the effect of applying
User-Centered Design and Design Thinking.

Contents:

  • Purpose of the work

  • Brief description of Parkinson’s disease

  • Proposed functions for the assistive robot, along with their justifications

  • Additional ideas for addressing selected challenges associated with Parkinson’s disease
